Update Fixed Asset Master Data

Is it possible to update Fixed Asset Master Data, SAP B1 version 9.2.? I would like to change quantities.

You can update quantity before posting any transaction...or add a column of quantity in your template and remove all other columns except asset code and try DTW to update records.

Hi Markoic,

I have uploaded FA item with quantity but its not taking quantity so I think you does not need to update the quantity.

Quantity matter in capitalization of fixed asset so you have to upload quantity at the time of capitalization and go back and check in FA Item master it will reflect.

Hi markovic,

You can update master data by using DTW as Mannan said but you cant update quantity as a master data, Quantity required at the time of capitalization of FA.

So you don't have to update quantity, If you want to update any other master data you can.
