Dear All,
Can anybody suggest the strategy for scheduling the job /VIRSA/ZVFATBAK in system. At this moment we are having 7 application servers for production systemm and user load balance will be distributed to all servers.
Now my question is does we have to schedule the job /VIRSA/ZVFATBAK in every application servers? I couldn;t see any note regarding the topic.
Please advice.
Regards,
Jay

Hi Nesimi,
Please refere to Congiuration Guide of AC 5.3 which details about scheduling the BG Job "/VIRSA/ZVFATBAK" at the following link.

I am not aware of BG Job /VIRSA/ZVFAT_V03 in AC 5.3.

Hi Chandra,
When you schedule the job /VIRSA/ZVFATBAK in production system, Central Instance of the production system will take care of scheduling/managing the job in all 7 application servers for that production system. So you just need to schedule the job at one place i.e) production system only.

Jay,
You do not need to configure the /VIRSA/ZVFATBAK in every app server, as the job in the central instance will read from all app servers.
