TYDEG Tota 6
Can you help formula for above two cases

Hi,
As Sven mentioned, you don't need formula.
Did you merge on EmpGrp and Emp Field (Excel and from other source)?.
Create input control on merged EMPGrp and have optional prompts.
That way if user selects any EMPGrp, they will see only the selected employee Amount and they dont then "All" EmpGrp will display.
Thanks,
Jothi

Hi Sven,
I have EmpGrp and Emp field coming from an data provider, I want to populate measure amount column values from excel source which includes the EmpGrp and Emp field.
How to write a formulae logic to get Amt relevant to EmpGrp and Emp field upon any of these selections in prompt. If I run the report without prompt selection all Amt should get display . Previuos i attached the excel source.
Thanks,
Dinya

Hi Dinya,
Should this be your source or is this an example for the visualization? What you need is not a formula to display. If you use normal structured source data, the dimensional functions will do the job. Just fill the grouping of "EmpGrp" and remove the totals. Then you just need to select the "Emp" in promt or input and build a summary-line.

Sven
