how to make a position obsolete under the following conditions 1. Occupied and Obsolete, 2. Unoccupied and Obsolete

3. Making positions Obsolete and vacant at the same time

Hi,

You can have following solution/comments for your requirement

1. Occupied and Obsolete, This is standard way of using IT 1014 in OM. You create obsolete status and when position is freed it should be delimited.

2. Unoccupied and Obsolete See above mentioned example. When position is obsolete it should be delimited, i.e. it is not valid any more.

3. Making positions Obsolete and vacant at the same time Similar to point 2. Obsolete position by definition cannot be vacant, as it is supposed to be delimited, i.e. it should not be valid.
