An RFC destination could not be specified for the logical system

Hi All,

We are working in embedded EWM in S4 1709. So we dont have different box i.e. we are working in single S4 box. We have setup the system. But we are getting the below error while doing GR for EWM task for inbound.

The error says :

An RFC destination could not be specified for the logical system XXXCLNT200

Delivery output could not be sent to ERP system

Can you please guide me of probable issue.

We have created the logical system, RFC, Business System, own business system, Queues etc.

Please let me know if you need further details.

in S/4Hana the view mentioned in SAP Note 2553151 seem to not exist.

Hi Brigit, I see view CRMC_ABOXLSYSRFC in S4Hana (In system where I work).

As well you can maintain this in transaction BD97

This question has already opened one year, I'm pretty sure that you have already solved this issue.

I post my resolution here in case someone else search this issue again:

After BD97, WE20 and a serial of transactions which you can refer from the system message, Additionally you need to check whether there is one entry in table TBLSYSDEST, example as below:

LOGSYS: S4HCLNT100

RFCDEST: S4HCLNT100

If not, then you should use SE16N to manually add one.

SAP Note: 2553151 - GR message of EWM delivery is sent to a wrong ERP client or wrong RFC destination

Please check BD97 if you have connected the logical system of S/4 is connected to that of EWM

Check if the distribution model is setup

Just to add we have created two logical systems

S4 system

GKPCLNT200 Logical system name for client 200

EWM system

GKPEWM200 Logical system name for client 200 EWM

But we have only assigned one system to client

Client Logical System

200 GKPCLNT200
