Problem in CK11N

Hi,

When running Ck11n in simulation mode, for one parent material the cost for the dependent materials is not getting calculated only for the parent material the cost is calculated for the rest of other materials system is calculating the costs for all the dependent materials as well as for parent materials.

Analysis

u2022Checked for costing relevancy in BOM for BOM items

u2022Checked for costing relevancy in routing

u2022Checked Material master casting view of dependent components for u201CCosting with quantity Structure Check boxu201D

u2022Checked for any changes of material master in Price control or any other price up-dates manually.

u2022Checked whether the validity date of BOM falls in costing run date.

u2022Checked the Material price and costing lot size in material master.

u2022Check for the dependent material status (Active/In-Active) in that plant

all the above found ok but still not calculating

Hi,

It could be that the Procurement type in the MRP2 view of the finished (parent) material is set to 'F' (External procurement) and so SAP is costing it as a raw-material ignoring the BOM.

have you maintained correct prices for child/Raw materials as per valuation strategies?
