Moving VC applications to NWDI track..

Dear Friends,

How can we load VC applications to an NWDI track as we do for WD Java DCs.........Is it the same process..........Would be helpful if someone can elucidate the process.

Hi Nishita,

If you are using web based VC... then

Hope you have configured

1) a Track in NWDI and Software component in process of creating a track.

2) U have done all the required configurations in your CE server to show the Track content in VC 7.1

3) user has dtr account.

Now,

Just create a DC in local repository, create a model under the DC. Right click on DC and select "Add to Source Contorl"... DC will move to Software component of ur NWDI track. After this just check in the DC.

Hi Nishita,

When you create a VC DC from NWDS you can create it in NWDI, if you have NWDI configured and the track is imported to your workspace.

If you want to move existing VC models to NWDI you can export the models and import them to a DC in NWDI.
