General Data / Plant 2 not Created but PC updated in MARC Table

Hi All,

We are trying to upload the material using the Material BAPI. We passed the PC and marked as X in PlantDataX Table in the BAPI. System has created the material but in the table MARC we could see the profit center but when checking the same in MM03, the view "General Plant Data 2" is not extended. Then, when we manually extend the view for the material, we could see that PC is available and save upon clicking save.

Could you kindly guide.

Hi Ankur,

Thanks for the suggestion. But I feel that there must be some way that we are missing, because profit center update during material upload is basic requirement which I think SAP would not have left. So I am seeking experts opinion in this regard.

If I don't receive any recommendations, as you have suggested, we will log a ticket with SAP.
