CAN U EXPLAIN ME ABOUT RDA DTP WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF IT WHY WE USE IT ESPECIALLY INSTEAD OF OTHER TYPES ARE AVAILABLE . CAN U EXPLAIN ME

Hi,

RDA DTP is different from other DTP's as it is controlled by the DAEMON and Daemon monitors the same.

Normal DTP's are neither controlled nor monitored by the DAEMON.

Hi,

Perpose:

Real-time data acquisition(RDA) supports tactical decision-making and operational reporting by allowing you to send data to the PSA table in real-time. You then use a daemon to transfer DataStore objects to the operational DataStore layer at frequent regular intervals. The data is stored persistently in BI.

Web service DataSources and DataSources from SAP source systems can support real-time data acquisition.

u can fetch live data and u can schedule no of times a day immediate reporting. here no need activation for reporting.
