Status report requirement

Hi Experts,

My requirement is MIS status report.

The scenario is like,

1.we have a few industry practices like Health care, telecoms it services -

2.in the same way we have technical practices like sap. java. .net (the same will be utilized to for above industry practices)

I have used the user defined WBS text.1 for industry practiceand tex2 is for techno practice.

when i am using the cn41, then selecting the fields of txt1, and txt2 i could be able to view the report as project with industry practice and with techno practice.

Now our requirement is if i query with industry practices all the relevant project with techno practice should be displayed .

in the same way if i query with technical practice all the relevant projects with industry practice should be displayed.

you need to use dynamic selection in CN41 for this using the user defined field

Thanks for the immediate response.

I have tried with dynamic selection. But without selecting the project, i could not be able to select the required parameters.

I should be able to select the projects basing on the practices.

In CN41, enter A(from value) and Z (to value) in Project Definition field, then you use your dynamic selection. Now you can see all the project filtered by dynamic selection. Please note above method will be applicable only if your coding mask starts in Alphabets.

if you do not use A to Z you could simply use * - then there is no coding mask restriction
