issue in MRP

Dear Expert

we are implementing MRP run in company we use special procurement type 40 (stock transfer from alternative plant) so when we run through md02 system is generating stock transfer requisition directly where as we run mrp for the plant system is genrating planned order in the MRP parameter we have maintained 1 creation of purchase requisition. we want system should create purchase requisition directly in MD01 also

Let me know the planned order type, if it is LA convert the planned order to stock Requisition

When we define the procurement type external , also we are able to create the purchase requisition using md03 then why i n MD01 we are not able to create the purchase requisition directly

Hi Usmfarhan,

If you are doing the MRP Run again then Select the Parameters : Create Purchase Requisition= 1 and Planning Mode=3.

Please check and revert.

Dear,

Problem is Planning File is not maintain.Entry in Planning File is required in case of Total MRP(MD01) only while for MD02,MD03 it is not required.You can maintain Planing File Entry using MD20 (Individual) or by using Back Ground Job OMDO.

check whether your requirement date falling in opening period or not if your req date is not in opening period then planned order will be created not purchase req

In the MD61 we have entered the requirement for 1st march we are running MRP today but in MD02 system is creating purchase requisition where as in MD01 it created planned order

Is this material a FERT or HALB and if this is a HALB what is the setting In material Master availability check "collective 01 or Individual 02". please check once and come back

As you are running MRP at Plant level and if this has collective requirements selection then planned order will be generated
