Dear all,
I have the following question: i have a material that can be produced at a maximum of 10.000 pieces a day. No matter how many requirements i have, my roof is this 10.000 pieces. Now, there are days i have more requirements than 10.000, there are days i have requirements less than 10.000, and at the end, i have days with no requirement at all. In the days i have no requirement at all, i need to produce these 10.000 so i make stock which i need latter. Therefore, in these days i have to introduce a VSF requirement of 10.000 (or so)
Is there any way of combining all these, so i end up to a feasible plan, so as in the days i have a requirement i produce only the difference or if the requirement is bigger of the 10,000 to somehow split? Or, in the days i have a requirement, the VSF requirement is not included?
I have been thinking of using a manufacturing table or a simple SOP form... But any suggestions are welcomed.
Best personal regards
Nikos
Ηello all,
problem was solved using VSFB requirements type
