Delivery Split

Hi Friends,

I have created a sales order with 6 line items and i delivered 3 line items in that. After delivering 3 line items i changed the ship-to-party at header and in line items for 30-60, but when i am trying to delivery the document (Line item 30 to 60) it is not allowing me to do delivery.

I am getting the following Error

Delivery split due to conflicting header data (Function SH: Address Indicator E<->D)

This message i am getting only for 30 line item, where as i have changed the ship-to-party for all 30 to 60 line items.

Pls let me know if any solution for this.

Hi Sikanth,

Kindly check the following:

Delievery split can occur because of following reasons:

1. Different delivery dates for line items.

2. Different ship to parties for line items.

3. Different routes for line items.

Check whether the above data are same for all your line items.

The following data may cause to split as two deliveries:

- Check the shipping points of the two items it may be different.

- Check the item level partner functions in the Sales order is there different ship to parties available for the two items.

- Check the Delivering plant of the items.

- Check the shipping conditions are different for the two items.

- Check the loading group of the two items

Hi,

The address for line item 40 to 60 must be same

in your case E & D

That is why it is giving split error.

Thanks for your reply...

I know that the VBPA-ADRDR is different for line item 40 and 60 and b'se of that delivery is splitting. But my question is when i entered both the line items 40 and 60 manually why the ADRDR is different?? and if it is different how to solve this problem to create a single delivery document??

Hii Friends,

I have checked in my system and i found that in VBPA-ADRNR is different for both the line items (Line item 40 and 50), but i have entered all these line items ship-to-party manually only, in that case ADRNR should be same. Then why it is changing for line item 40 to 50 and 60??? and also i found that another field VBPA-ADRDR is 'E' for line item 40 and 'D' is for line item 50 and 60. how to solve this problem to do a single delivery for all these items??

Pls repaly ASAP.

you said that you have already delivered the 3rd line item, may be even a partial delivery . please check. in that case only 40 - 60 items can be delivered with new ship to party.
