How to create a customized table without using T-code SE11?

Hi All,

Is there any other method of creating Z/Y table excepting T-code SE11 and why at all we need to start the name of any customized/user defined table with letter Z/Y?

Hi,

One can understand it is a company specific table but not SAP standard table if the table name starts with Z/Y. SAP has reserved Z/Y for that purpose.

In transaction SE11, in the attribute tab of your z table check table maintenance check box. Go to SM30 transaction, enter the ztable name and click on maintain button. Here you can enter new entries into the ztable

you requirement is not possible in standard SAP. If you want to create a new talbe this can be only done in SE11.

But please notice this is not a Sales and Distribution specific question.

You should create your thread in the responsible forum for basis (ABAP Dictionary).
