Issue with screenshots in CBTA test reports for Scheduled Execution from tester worklist

Hello,

We are scheduling CBTA test executions (unattended) on remote desktop through tester worklist. Though script execution is working fine, screenshots are blank (black screenshot) in all the reports. We assumed it might be due to windows getting locked, we tried after extending the system lock period also but the issue is still the same.

Could anyone help me with the possible issue and its solution? We have to schedule CBTA script execution for every friday midnight.

Hello Experts,

Even we are also facing the same issue. Scripts are executed in a remote system and when ever the remote system is minimized the screen shots are blank, is there a solution / workaround for this issue.

We are on SOLMAN 7.2 SP04 and CBTA front end 3.0.11.0.

2774741 - Screen shots in the Execution Report are blank when the screen is locked or minimized

Resolution

• If Screenshots are required, then you need to avoid minimizing or locking the screen.
• This is a known limitation and is specified on page 52 of the CBTA 3.0 : Runtime Library and Default Component Guide, located in the /Documentation subfolder of the CBTA installation folder.
