We recently moved our DR servers to a new physical location, and as part of this move, they have new names/addresses.
It was decided to re-image the SQL servers, as they are clustered and it's a nightmare to rename them.
However, we planned to just uninstall/reinstall BPC once the move was complete.
I now realise that my first mistake was in not uninstalling BPC before the move.
It was looking for the old Webfolders location (shared on the old SQL server name)
I performed what I thought was a full manual removal of BPC:
Deleted COM+ Objects
Deleted both \SAP and \Outlooksoft from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software in Registry
However, when I installed again, it completed, but wouldn't allow me to open BPC Server Manager (told me that I wasn't logged in as an admin, even though I was/am).
I tried uninstalling from Add/Remove Programs, and now I'm having to hit "Ignore" on hundreds of files that it can't delete, because it's looking for them in the old share location for Webfolders.
I have searched the registry for the old server name, but the only entries are in SQL Server, under "Previous Connections".
Can anyone advise me on how to do a FULL, manual uninstall of BPC please?
