"Skip empty" and "exist" functions in SAP Cloud Platform Integration

Greetings,

What do exactly "Skip empty" and "Exists" functions do? For example "Exists" only checks if the node is created or not or it also checks if the value of property if it's initial at the same time?

What about "Skip empty" function? What's the output tag if the value for a property is empty (initial).

Could you explain with a brief use case?

In any mapping in SAP Cloud Platform Integration, search for the function "SkipEmpty", it should show up in the results list.
