We have a scenario in which we hire employees mid-year who have 401K deductions that were taken from their previous employer during the year.
e.g. employee is hired with $2000 YTD taken for 401K from their previous employer.
We want to be able to account for the $2000 towards the annual 401K limits in our system, but we DONT want the $2000 reported on the W2 at the end of the year. That $2000 will be accounted for in the previous employer's W2 to the employee.
I have tried looking into "previous employer" configuration in SAP but can't seem to find where I can make this work.
Does anyone have any ideas regarding this?
