Hi Folks,
after a long long time we are refreshing our BW QA system from BW PROD. BW 7.31 SP 14 (and yes this is completely outdated I know ...)
We follow https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/BI/Scenario+B3
All worked so far so good but after the import of the source system dependent objects from PROD we got now all transformation duplicated.
One TRNF pointing to QA Source system (which is working correct) but with new Tech ID (compared to PROD) – generated with $TMP package message RSO449 when trying to view object directory entry
One TRNF pointing to PRD Source system (when trying to expand -> no data source obviously)
I understand that this is completely correct behaviour as the TRNF key contains the source system Information.
However, we wonder if we did something wrong …. and moreover the question is how to get rid of all the TRNF that point to old PRD Source system?
Is there a report to run?
Thanks and best regards,
Axel
Hi Gajesh,
strangely RSTRAN_BDLS was not mentioned in the wiki /or SAP note only RSBKDTP_BDLS.
Nevertheless I tried and it seems to fix the problem - although throwing tons of error messages and setting all transformations to inactive.
Can you (or anybody else) tell what the correct procedure is for switching a source system after a system copy?
Thanks,
Axel

Hi,
Can you check whether the below program helps you. I remember using this program during a system copy.
