System copy from Solaris/Oracle to Linux/Oracle

Hi,

I have SAP System running on Solaris/Oracle.

I want to move same SAP system to new hardwared which is with Linux/Oracle.

Will I be able to restore my Solaris/Oracle backup (taken using brbackup), on Linux/Oracle hardware, once I have target system ready with normal installation.

Could you please suggest any standard SAP guide for this source and target, which indicates system copy method as backup/restore, as standard process for migration.

Please go through that link, it's a standard SAP document for migration by making use of heterogeneous system copy.

Of course you can do this activity. You need to perform a "Heterogeneous system copy" for this. Please refer to the below link for this.
