Cfolder - WEBDAV connection

Hi All,

I want to download FORMAT.XML file from cfolder using webdav connection.

I have done the required config in SICF i.e.created eternal alias in 'sicf' for <default_host/sap/cpro> named /webdav_config.

Also updated the URL In the SPRO , in collaborations folders->Documents-> Making setting for WEBDAV interface.

I tried to create the WebDAV URL into "My Netwrok Places".A login is requested and I enter my SAP UserID and Password.

After entering the userid and password, I am not able to view a any folder in web location.

Have I missed any steps.

Please advice.

Hi ,

Please do the following steps.

1. Go to cFolders

2. Open the collaboration which you want to see in the network.

3. go to Additional functions

4. Click on WEBDAV URL

5. Copy the WEBDAV URL

6. Open Internet explorer or the Portal Drive.

7. On the internet Explore page click on File --> Open

8. Paste the URL

9. Check the Check Box for Open as Web folder

10. You can see all the folders in cfolders for that particular collaboration

If you use portal Drive.

1. Open the portal dirve

2. Create a drive with this URL

3. Log in with your SAP User ID and Password.

NOTE: THE URL WHICH YOU HAVE TO USE IS NOT THE CFOLDERS URL IT SHOULD BE THE WEBDAV URL WHICH YOU HAVE TO GET FROM MY POINTS WHICH I HAVE MENTIONED FROM 1 TO 4

My actual requirement is to update whitelist in FORMAT.XML

Where can I find this format.xml file in cfolder web location.

It is mention that an XML file "format.xml" is created for you on your Web Application Server in the "System Settings" folder. If you want to maintain this XML file, you have to establish access to the Web Application Server using a WebDAV connection.

Could you please tell me where can I find system setting folder in cfolder.
