Phy. Inventory

Dear experts,

Please share your thoughts on this issue?

We created a phy. inv document by quant? (Cycle counting). Document contains about 5 line items ( 5 bins and 1 quant per bin).

During activation, all 5 bins are getting blocked. we want to activate and block only one bin at a time and not block all 5 bins.

Tried it with DCC settings also, it is doing the same. Any inputs?

Thanks

    Hi ,

If you want to count bin by bin create systemm inventiry record using LI01N.

    Steps

    1.Execute LI01N

    2. Input storage bin which you need to count first.

3.click on activate button , this activates inventory for this storage bin.

    4. perform count operations.

    5.clear bin

    Hope it helps.

I know that this will work and this option is the last resort if nothing else is available.

Normally, one bin at a time is not a feasible option.

The issue is that normally the Phy. Inv. document will be created for a range of bins in 1 stype, or create cycle counting by quants. So, most of the time, the document will have atleast 10 to 20 bins.

During activation, i do not want to activate all bins.
