Installation Problem in 4.6C

Dear All,

I am trying to install SAP 4.6C with Oracle 9.2. However, at the 91% stage of the installation, I am getting the below error at the time of changing the password of SAPR3 user. Has any one faced this problem?

Please help me solve this problem....waiting for kind replies...

Hi

Don't change SAPR3 Password. because this is SAPSCHEEMA User.

May I know previously had you gave any passwords while installing ORACLE 9i and also check Oracle database installation directry path.

I think u gave wrong installation path given while installation

May i know previously have installed oracle (i mean oracle 8i,9i or 10g)before SAP

and one more conformation what is the kernel version of R/3 4.6c, if it is 620 kernel oracle 9i won't support

IS SAP R/3 up in SAPMMC?

IF yes then can you login using SAP* or DDIC user ID?

Please send the installation log

further information:

Oracle 9.2

OS: Windows XP

SAP 4.6C SR2

R3 installation is trying to set the password for user sapr3. When I checked at the DB level for the same user in table SAPUSER, this table as well as user do not exist in the database.

Can any one please help me solving this problem?
