Hello Guy's,

How can we assign TBOM to multiple executable’s at the same time in Solution Manager 7.2??

We have more than 1000 executable’s in our project and to assign TBOM to each executable it’s very time consuming.

Please note that we are using SAP Solution Manager 7.2 (SP 06) – Focus Build Solution for the Test Management (SPS 01).

Best regards,

Hello Rohan,

this is possible if you have already collected UPL or SCMON (preferred) data.into your SAP Solution Manager There is a section "usage logging" in transaction SOLMAN_SETUP to start the usage collection from your managed productive systems. Please make sure that the root flag is activated for SCMON and that we have data in the monthly UPL MC (multicube). TBOMs are only created semi-dynamically for your executables if data is aggregated into the monthly UPL MC..

In the launch pad of SAP Solution Manager please go to the Test Suite area. Access "Administration Business Process Chance Analyzer". If this tile is missing, assign this tile first with the app finder. Go to tab BPCA preparation and run the job "generate TBOMs". In case you have several LCG with executables you could generate a view in transaction SOLDOC and reuse it for the generation of TBOMS. You could also run the BPCA self checks report to find out if you have UPL or SCMON data available for your system.

Hello Sylke

This solution will generate semi-dynamic TBOMs in mass; as we know, semi-dynamic are not as accurate as dynamic TBOMs. Is there a way to mass assign executables for Dynamic TBOM creation?

Thank you,

Theresa
