SAP Analytics Cloud - Multiple MS SQL Server data connections

Hello,

We need to load data from two different MS SQL Servers to our SAP Analytics Cloud account. How can we achieve that?

In SAC "System - Administration - Data Sources" there is the possibility to add only one SAC Agent. Following MS SQL Servers data connection guide (https://www.sapanalytics.cloud/guided_playlists/connect-ms-sql/) it looks like there is also an option to connect to only one data source. This is not sufficient for our use case.

Thank you,

Hi ondrej.nekvinda

You can either:

- Define multiple JDBC drivers in the properties file, letting you connect to different sources inside of your network.

- SQL systems outside of another network can't be connected right now. This is under development and planned to come next year: https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/idea/219524

Cheers,

Mark

Hi fodor.mark

Thank you for the fast response, we need to connect to a system outside of the first system's network, we are gonna have to wait for the solution. Unfortunately, I can't vote for the idea, the button is greyed out.

Thanks for your response. Exactly, as Dev is already developing it, voting will not affect its release 🙂
