https URL does not allow catalog items to return to shopping cart

We are in the process of switching to https. When we update the URL in the web services area of the IMG, we can access the catalogs but when we try to submit the items back to the shopping cart, we receive a J2EE error.

What is the error message?

It is essentially a blank screen stating the requested resource does not exist. 404 NOT FOUND message.

Hi,

We need more information for troubleshooting.

1. Did it work before changing http to https ?

2. What is SRM version and Support package level?

3. What is Catalog version and patch level?

4. What is the exact URL that browser says 404 not found ?

Yes, its worked fine before our changes.

Still the Http link is working without any issues in Production portal.

2. What is SRM version and Support package level?

SRM Version: 5.0 and Support back level : 238.

3. What is Catalog version and patch level?

Version :5.5 SP6

(5.5.62.63)

4. What is the exact URL that browser says 'The requested resource does not exist' ?

https://mms.sap.mgroupnet.com:50001/webdynpro/resources/sap.com/tcmdmsrmcat~uisearch/Components/com.sap.mdm.srmcat.uisearch.master.Master/null

Hi,

Please go to SMICM transaction in SRM Server. Goto -> Services. Please check you see the protocol https and port 50001 ?

Per your below message we have verified the T-code SMICM and found the below details.

The initial URL for the SRM Portal is https://mes.sap.mgroupnet.com:8800/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart/!?sap-client=100&sap-language=EN, this 8800 has been maintained in the SMICM. But 50001 is not there in SMICM.

Please check and suggest.

Thanks for the update.

We verified the table TWPURLSVR in t-code SM31 and got the details that are maintained as below.

Web server : MOCWGPRD.SAP.MGROUPNET.COM:8085

Web protocol : HTTP

GUI start server : MOCWGPRD.SAP.MGROUPNET.COM:8085

GUI start protocol : HTTP

Please suggest me what needs to be changed.

Hi,

I have no idea. All host name and port are different. MOCWGPRD, MES, 8085, 8800.

I guess MMS is AS Java server. Maybe the issue is in AS Java side. How about compare the J2EE log with both http and https case? Please double check if you get same error when you use http.
