Hi,
i wanna ask about shipment cost. i have made an shipment document contain 2 stages (from A to B and from B to C).
then i made shipment cost document. the shipment cost document contains 3 item level:
- 1 shipment header from A to C
- 2 Shipment leg from A to B and B to C
those 3 item level have freight cost.
i'm thinking that we doubled the freight cost because the shipment cost doc contain shipment header.
A to B and B to C are the same like A to C, right? so if we count all 3 item level means that we pay twice, is it right?
please help me to understand this problem.
best regard,
Hendry
yes, we can manage shipment cost at header n item level.
do you think we can maintain same condition type ( eg: FB00) in both of header n item level? is it gonna be doubled cost of FB00?
I found this problem, and i haven't changed the setting before.
thanks
Best Regard,
Hendry

Hi,
You can mange the shipment cost at header and at stage level:
Shipment cost items
The items refer either to a shipment header or a shipment stage. The items contain general data for shipment costing and settlement, such as service agent, pricing date and settlement date, tax amount and tax basis as well as organizational data such as company code, plant and purchasing organization.
In transaction T_56 (SPRO > LE > Transportation > Shipment Cost > Shipment Cost Document > Shipment Cost Types and Item Categories - "Assign shipment cost types and item categories") you can define at which level the shipment cost should be managed.
You have to carry out your setting properly and maintain transactional data accordingly
