EWM Create several automatic packing specification for the same product for inbound delivery

Hi EWM experts

I don't know if it's possible, but I would like to create several automatic packing specification for the same product and the same SC Unit for inbound delivery with HU creation differentiated only for the quantity. For example for the Product “A” and “SC Unit SCU_WXXX”, that is not VERP, I have created an Inbound Delivery with 130 KG, so the packing specification will be created the Handling Units for several VERP products, performing the VERP product "B" with target quantity of 100 KG, VERP product "C" with target quantity of 20 KG and finally VERP product "D" with target quantity of 10 KG.

I know that I could create different condition records including one different parameters to create different packing specification for material B, C and D, but for my business requirement the product/material will arrive at EWM side with the same parameters (product and SC Unit, differentiated only for quantity).

Hi Antonio,

Let me just recap what I understood from your question. For the same product P, for quantities q1, q2, q3 etc. you want different packspecs to be proposed, is that right?

If so, I suggest you look into using logical conditions under the SAP Main Menu -> EWM -> Master Data -> Packaging Specification -> Define Logical Conditions for Packaging Specifications

Here, you can create conditions based on the product quantities, and then assign them in the condition maintenance for the packspec you create. Hope this helps.
