Calculated custom Key figure shows * values occassionally

Dear Experts,

I have created a report (in SAP C4C Business Analytics) with a calculated key figure where the formula is Column 2 % Column 1 for column 3 . Some of the values are calculated correctly while some are detected by the exceptions arrow but only visible as *. i have aligned column 3 as descending and if we calculated the missing values, they would fit right in the sort order.

To further elaborate, Column 1 and column 2 are custom key figures as well created to support currency conversion for some extension fields. These extension fields were created using the key user tool and are calculated Amount fields (two extension fields multiplied to each other, one amount, other quantity). As you can see, column 1 and column 2 values are reflected correctly.

The extension fields are created on the item level of an opportunity. As the extension fields are of type - Amount, they automatically qualify as key figures.

Column 3 as I have said Column 2 % Column 1 (percentage deviation).

Please advise.

Thanks!!

Kamalika

Hi Kamalika,

The key figure value displays * when there are more than one UoM maintained for that key figure field. You already mentioned that you have done the currency conversion (so values with multiple currencies are converted to one currency unit), could you check if the Quantity field you mentioned has more than one UoM.

To simplify, just pass the defauly Quantity UoM in the selection filters and check whether the column 3 is displayed correctly. If it does, then it means that in one of the opportunity items the Quantity UoM is maintained differently.
