change label of reserved fields in customer master

Hi everyone,

Can you please teach me how to change label/field description of reserved fields in customer master? And how to make them required fields.

    Hi,

    To change the label/field description of reserved fields in customer master first find out the data element of the field and then go to transaction code CMOD & menu path Goto -> Text Enhancements -> Keywords -> Change. And then enter the data element of customer master field and the lable description.

    Ensure that data element in question is not being used for any other field other than the field you desire to change failingwhich this lable will be displayed in all fields where the data element is referred.

    Hi everyone,

    Can you please teach me how to make reserved fields in the customer master data a required field? In these case customer groups under sales area data>extras>additional data.

    If you chage in customer master that will replicate where ever it calls. What is the business requirement.
