Dear Expert Helpers ,
need some spot light on a Scenario in HCM - Indian Payroll - which I'm Facing in my Client Place:
Here in Client place, all employees are categorized in 3 types .: 1 .Officers(Technical , non Technical) 2. Staff (Technical , non Technical) 3. Workmen (Only Technical ),.all the employee times are captured from bio metric system. now the Problem is with Overtime Capturing and validating and Approving.Only some of the staff and all workmen who work in Production Department have the preassigned over time applied which is need to be paid based on the approval from the Department Head .
Can any one help to answer my questions :
a. how do we capture the Overtime , validate (whether this employee has overtime assigned or not),
if it is assigned , should be approved from supervisor and then it should reflect in their payroll run?
b. how can we over write one workman who has preassigned over time even after his bio metric captured and should be paid during payroll run for a month ?
c. If I configure CATS/CATS2 will it solve my problem ? if Yes , please guide me the steps.

Your question is relevant to solution design. We need to understand the entire scope so that, it is easy to suggest.
