Hi,
ESS area links dont seem to work when I click on them. It remains on the same page and does not show the sub areas. Although when I click on the workset in the second level navigation it does show the links for the pages. But these links do not again open and it shows the same page. Its the standard ESS role which has come with SAP so the homepage framework setting seems to be correct.
If I open the pages directly in preview mode from the content admin they open correctly and show the data from the backend HR system but not through the ESS role.
Any clue ?
Regards,
Amit
Just check these steps
Check the Workset in the Portal and make sure that all the pages are assigned to workset (ESS Homepage) and then make sure that it has ess role. Also check the ess end user portal role is assigned to the employee.
also check all mandatory portal ess roles are assigned and ess banckend roles are there.
cheers

Hi,
I hope you have created a Web Dynpro for Java iView for the
application name XssMenuArea
Application namespace sap.com/pcui_gp~xssutils
and in the application parameters sap.xss.menuarea= &sap.xss.menuargrp=&sap.xss.menuhdr=
Hope this helps.
Cheers-
Pramod
