swu3 after a system refresh

Good morning,

I am facing a new problem, for the second time, after refreshing an ECC 6.07 system.

It is related to SAP work flows.

After the refresh, I start transaction swu3.

I check that the all the subcomponents of the "Maintain Runtime Environment" are "green".

But a few days later, the wf-batch user becomes locked and the "configure RFC Destination" of swu3 is not ok anymore.

1. Would you know how I can diagnose why the problem that is occurring?

2. How should I proceed after the refresh to avoid that?

Have a nice day.

Good afternoon,

Yes the user get locked due to failed logon, from what I remember.

Next time, I would check the RFC.

Would you know which RFC are create with SWU3?

Regards.

Please check RFC - Logical Destination

WORKFLOW_LOCAL_<CLIENT>

You can rerun generate RFC deleting RFC get it to fix quickly.

Thank you

Hi,

You will need to determine what is trying to use WF-BATCH user to connect. It could be some connecting system making a call and locking user.

Does you user get locked due to failed logons?

Check SM21, it will report the times it got locked and possibly the terminal the connection was coming from.

You can enable Audit logs to determine the source of connection.

It could also be another RFC within the system, so check all RFC to make sure that password is updated in all RFC destinations.

Thanks
