Hi Community,
I am trying to do SAP GUI scripting on macOS but I struggle to find up to date ressources / tutorials to help me. I found that user guide but it seems that Apple Script does not support SAP GUI anymore : there is no dictionary available and the record script feature does not work with the SAP GUI. I am on macOS Sierra 10.12.6 and I use SAP GUI 7.50rev1
Would someone have some ressources to share ?
Thanks a lot, Ludovic.
Hi Rolf-Martin,
Thanks a lot for you answer. Is there any possibility to write and launch the script outside of the script window ? Ideally, I would like to write my scripts in an IDE and launch those from there. I've seen the same working with SAP GUI for Windows. Just wondering it this could work for the Java version as well.

Hello Ludovic,
The official source for SAP GUI Scripting is https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/ATopics/SAP+GUI+Scripting
In SAP GUI for Java, navigate to Scripts > Scripting... to get a script window to record or playback JavaScript.
Best regards
Rolf-Martin
