Custom fields through BAPI_CTRACPAYMINC_APPEND

Hello All,

The table DFKKZP is extended with some custom fields through a CI include. Now If I need to post a payment lot using the BAPI_CTRACPAYMINC_APPEND. The structure BAPIDFKKZP is not enhanced, that means it doesn't contain the custom fields that are added for DFKKZP.

Can we go ahead and extend the BAPIDFKKZP with the required custom fields or do we have any other way to achieve this?

We have created custom grouping characterstics to get the collections and associated receivables cleared with each other.
