HANA Express: Streaming Run-Test issue

Hello, all

I use HANA Express with latest version at this moment (2.0 SPS03 - 2.00.033.00.1535711040). It runs on virtual machine.

I have installed Streaming Analytics according instruction https://www.sap.com/developer/tutorials/hxe-ua-installing-streaming.html. Installation was finished successfully.

But I can't connect to Streaming analytics from Eclipse Neon -> HANA Streaming Run-Test perspective. I done all steps from here https://www.sap.com/developer/tutorials/hxe-ua-streaming-plugin.html. But on the latest step #6 (Discover) I have following error:

[HY000][-10719][[unixODBC][SAP AG][LIBODBCHDB SO][HDBODBC] General error;-10719 Connect failed (invalid SERVERNODE '')]

Does anyone know the reason? Streaming service works (green led in administration console).

Host name should be used as hxehost and same has to be updated in host file. I also faced similar kind of issues in the past.

Make sure you use the correct port of the streaming server for the HXE tenant.

and you enter the correct password.

Also, use the host name (hxehost) and do not forget to add it in the hosts file on your client.

and check if there is a firewall between your client and the HANA server.
