Crystal Reports - How to Outer Join OINV and ORIN

Hello Experts, Im trying to do a report on crystal reports that shows AR Invoice with or without Credit Memo.

But I only get all the Invoices with credit memo, and I need the ones that does not have them.

Look the attached pics.

Crystal only shows invoices with credit memo.

I need crystal shows information like the following sap query:

That one shows invoices with or without credit memo.

Thank you!

I'm not sure of the translations, but assuming that everything is in the same places as in the English version, you'll configure your joins like this:

From RIN1 to ORIN. You want a Left Outer Join (second option under Join Type), Not Enforced (first option under Enforce Join), Link Type is =.

Do the same thing from INV1 to OINV.

In this case "Left Outer" means that you want all of the records in the table you're linking from regardless of whether there are matching records in the table you're linking to.

Hi Dell, thank you for your answer.

Doing the Left Outer Join from RIN1 to ORIN and INV1 to OINV didnt show the information I needed.

But, your explanation was enough for me and I tried a different link and I found the solution, and the solution is doing a Left Outer Join from INV1 to RIN1.

    Thank you so much!
