Hello,
we have switched the interface technology to one of our SAP systems from RFC to web service. Since the go-live, it is noticeable that the interface runtime sometimes has large peaks. All in all, the runtime of the interfaces is only a bit slower, but the peaks cause problems for us (sometimes 10 times the average).
My analysis has revealed that this is probably because the work processes in the backend are prioritized differently than RFC calls. For RFCs, the dialog process has priority "high", for web services only "medium". At high system load, this apparently leads to problems. For other technical reasons, we want/ need to stay with web services.
I am now looking for a way to increase the priority of the dialog processes to the Web service calls. Any ideas?
Best regards,
Michael
