EFP, HTTPSession and Firewall

The external facing portal is accessed (via a reverse proxy webserver) using a quick link with query string parameter.

[http://myefp.com/irj/pro/myefp?src=partner1] Note: User is anonymous at this point and NOT a logged in user.

JSPDynpage code gets this queryString (SRC) variable and stores in the session variable (HTTP). Once the user logs in, based on what the SRC value is, taken to the corresponding content area.

On some PCs, with firewall turned on, this session variable returns a null. When the firewall is turned off, it passes through.

Does SAP EFP require some specific IE/firewall settings to enable this?

Thanks.
