Need to dedicate files to separate/different queues.

Hi,

I am working on File to Proxy interface, This is a critical interface and every day we are receiving around 9 files with different file sizes, I got a concern from functional team saying the process is taking long time and I see that, say for example we have 3 files and in which 1st file is going into queue1, 2nd and 3rd files are going to queue2, as the 2 files are going in to the same queue, the process is delayed, the 3rd file is taking long time to complete, which is in waiting status in queue2 until the 2nd file is completed. Instead of that, I want the 3rd file to go into either queue1 or queue4 depending which is free at that time. So my question here is it possible to assign dedicated queue for each file or any other solution. Please find the attached screen shot taken from SXMB_Moni, you can see 3 files went into queue7 and took almost 2hrs to complete the process.

Thank you,

Vijay

you can explore the option of dynamic queue for this requirement.

Hi Harish,

I had created Message Prioritization with High Priority, but even that is not allowing 1 dedicated queue for 1 file. Please check the attached screen shot.

Thank you,

Vijay

Hi Harish,

1. I guess Message Prioritization will be done only if have 2 ICO's in 1 CS, but here in this case, I don't have 2 ICO's. Can still this be achieved?

2. Using Message prioritization, does it create separate queue for each file?

3. This interface runs in particular time and at the same time-frame another critical interface runs, so will that be affected in anyway if I use Message priority for this interface.

Thank you,

Vijay

Hi Vijay,

You can define the message prioritization and it will assign new queue ID for each message. Please refer the below discussion for more details
