Two different documents have same reversal document number

Dear all,

Our company has used SAP ECC 6.0, and it's my first time to see this problem.

I have bumped into a problem when I reverse documents.

I used MASS REVERSE program, t-code F.80 last Friday.

As you see the table, two different documents has a same Reversed document (Colored by Yellow).

Some documents occured like this.

I am only guessing Reversal Indicator caused this problem but I can't sure it.

So plz give me an idea on this.

reversal indicator is system assigned i suppose. 1 is for reversed document and 2 for reversal document

your 240 is reversed with 258

258 is reversed with 279

and 279 is listed as the reversal document for 258 which is fine

the issue i see is 258 is not listed as the reversal document for 240 but as a reversed document by 279. means a reversal document was again reversed.
