while settlement the order system should not allow in future period

Dear All,

While settile the Order in KO88 system should not allow in Future period.

Ex: if i give the settlement period 11 and posting period 12, it will take the posting period 31.03.2010.

so system should not allow in future posting date settlement.

please suggest me.. how to do?

Hi,

Is your question that system should not post to future period?

The posting period can be longer than, or the same as the settlement period, but it must be within the specified fiscal year. The settlement results are posted in the posting period. The settlement period is the same as the posting period, unless you make an entry stating otherwise. So, as long as the Period in question is open, it will post.

While Settlement users are giving the posting period in future but it should be as settlement period only.

i tried to CO period lock but it is giveng the information message only.

please clear me as below points:

1. After CO periods Lock , while settle in future it should give the error message (now it is giving information message only)

IS it possiple to change the message from information to Error.

2. How to control the fields in KO88 (i want to make it the posting period in display mode)
