I have installed a SAP HANA Express Edition on a Linux server (Redhat) (on-prem). Then I created a new tenant database and a new user to work with the tenant db. DP Agent is installed on the same machine. DP Agent is up and running. Everything seems all right.
Problem: It is not possible to register an agent successfully using the tenant db/tenant db-user. The agent I have registered using the SystemDB does not appear in the agent list in eclipse (agent table).
Details: Before you can register an agent within the configuration tool (Linux), you have to configure the SAP HANA connection (within the configuration tool). Until now it was only possible to create a working connection using port 3XX15 and SystemDB-user. All other attempts were in vain. I tried to get a connection using the tenant-DB user and many (other) ports (including 3XX40-3XX48), but it doesn´t work.
With port 3XX15 and SystemDB-user it is possible to create a connection, register an agent and choose adapters. So in the configuration tool everything looks correct. Unfortunately the registered agent does not appear in eclipse (agent table) so that it is not possible to work with.
Can anyone please help me solving this problem?
