calendar id creation for TimeStream id

Former Member

From one of the forums, I came to know that the calendar id is assigned to a particular time stream id. With this, we can be able to know which dates are holidays-regular and special. But please let me know where actually we need to create the calendar ids so that we assign them to the time-stream ids. Please give the full-lenghth procedure.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You can define calender with following transaction

SPRO-APO-Master data-calender-Maintain factory calender.

In factory calender creation you can define which days of week are workdays and which are non working.

You can also define holiday calender with same transaction to define specific holiday apart from normal weekly off.

Same holiday calender can be assigned to factory calender.

Now you can assign this calender to time stream /n/SAPAPO/Calender.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Santosh

Hi Gurucharan,

Factory calendar are created in SCAL transaction. Better get the SAP PP consultant guidance to create and assign the working day and holiday details.

Once the Factorory calender created you can use the calender to the time stream id in /SAPAPO/CALENDAR which is used in the storage bucket profile of planning area/planning book.
