How can i automatically generate system date & user name in an InfoObjekt in SAP BW

Hello,

we are trying to get the Date of last change and the name of the User hwo changed data in a InfoObject.

system date & user name should be added whenever data is added or updated.

Does anyone have an idea how to do this?

Hi Bechir

I have do not know how to do this if you are using "Maintain Master Data"

If you are using a flat file or extractor load , create custom charecterists created with reference User 0UNAME and Date 0DATE, and add them as attributes to the target InfoObject. Use the buit in BW functions for sy-user and sy-datum to populate the attributes on data load.
