Changing the company logo

Hello expert,

We are using BPC 7.0 SP05 and we have a little problem with the company logo image.

Indeed, each time we replace the default logo by our company's on the application server, then the BPC users continue to see the old image during a while even after having clicked "Home" button in the Action pane.

Could you please let me know how to do so that the image is immediately updated on the clients side ?

Is there a good way for this ?

Hi,

Try this

1. Image file should be in "Server Install\Data\WebFolders[Appset]"

2. Add to Application Set Parameter.

KeyID : COMPANY_LOGO

Value : image file name. Image file extention only support to "BMP","GIF" and "JPG".

As already indicated by Badrish, let me try to give you what SAP says about this parameter.

COMPANY_LOGO: Use this parameter to add your corporate logo to the default templates in BPC for Excel. Enter the file name for the logo image that you want to display. This image must be stored in the Application Set directory, which is "[Server

Install]\Data\WebFolders\[Appset]". For example, C:\BPC\Data\WebFolders\[Appset]. If the COMPANY_LOGO does not exist or the file name is invalid, the default globe image displays.

Valid Value: Allows the bmp, gif, and jpg image file types

Where this parameter is used: Logon to BPC for Excel
