Dear support,
After having used CAL for some time now I should not have made this mistake anymore - but anyhow I did.
I created some time ago an instance for SAP SQL Data warehousing (developer edition) on CAL tenant: https://cal.sap.com/console/tenant_ROCL1N2B9KAH#/instances.
Since i do not need it anymore i wanted to terminate it and made the rookie mistake by removing first the configuration objects on GCP instead of using the CAL function to remove an instance.
I don't see an immediate solution to remove the instance on SAP CAL since the "Terminate" option is no longer shown and it's not possible to set a termination date in the instance configuration.
So I'm stuck at this point. Can you advise on a way to resolve this?
Thanks in advance.
Hello Stanimir,
This is now resolved. I tried using a new created JSON file but kept running into error messages.
Finally I removed the GCP account from CAL and the orphan instances was gone.
With the next instance i create on GCP i'll just create a fresh CAL account.
Kinds regards,
Frank

OK, I will look into this later.
You mean that i should open a new GCP project and upload the related JSON file?
I still had the JSON file available that was linked to the CAL instance and tried to upload it but that also resulted in an error message.

Hello Frank,
The main problem is that you have invalidated the connection from SAP CAL to your GCP project. The recommended solution is to restore the connection by uploading a new JSON file for your GCP account.

Hello Frank,
Can you go to the instance details in SAP CAL and copy the instance ID from the URL in the address bar?
Best regards,
Stanimir
