Entries for Abscence Intotype

Hi,

I am trying to apply leave (Vacation) for an employee via PA30 transaction, when i enter all the necessary values in the Create Absences screen and whil saving its displaying a message 'Not enough quota 40 for attendance/absence 1001 on <date> for personnel no <>'

The fields in Absence Quotas screen looks like

Quota number - 0,00000 Hours

Deduction - 0,00000

Time field as empty.

I am not able to maintain values in the above mentioned fields even though i enter the values while creating while saving the values are getting discarded.

Any suggestions will be helpful.

Hi Prashanth,

Can you please help me in understanding the entries in the table you have mentioned (sorry i am very much new to SAP World).

Employee attribute for which i am trying to key in entires for Infotype 2001 is Employee Group - 2,Employee Sub Group - FT(Full time),Personnal Sub Area - 10.

hI Sriram,

The fields in Absence Quotas screen looks like

Quota number - 0,00000 Hours

Deduction - 0,00000

Time field as empty.

as shown above fields, it means tha this leave has no quota so u cannot apply any leaves against this quota..if you want to apply then the quota shud be as equal to the no of eaves u r applying in 2001 atleast or more than that in 2006.

If system is not accepting ur inputs in 2006 means u have to check ur configuration once again generation rules again check in this V_T559L (selection rules table)

Hi,

Please check if the employee has sufficient leave quota for the absense type that you want to create leave in 2001.

First you will have to maintain the absence leave quota infotype(2006) for that employee.

Then you can use it in absenses (2001)
