Dear SDN forum,
I have been searching for a solution to my problem, but I guess im too new to SAP Basis yet, because I didnt fully understand the solutions. i hope someone can detail it a bit.
One of our developers released a transport in our dev system which is now in our stms queue in the production system. He now wants it deleted.
First off isnt it best practice to make a "correction" transport instead of deleting it?
Second, if I cant get him to make a correction transport, how is the proper way to delete the transport in a way so I dont get problems in the transport system later on. (In most of the posts i have read people warn about problems if this isnt done properly)
Third - to make sure the transport didnt get imported i deleted it from the stms queue in the production system. If it needs to be run together with a correction transport, I can always add it again from "extras" -> Other requests" -> "Add" right?
thanks in advance!

Yes Crete new transport request and import new request then latter you can delete wrong request from queue

Hi Soeren,
An unimported request can be deleted from the queue anytime.
It won't harm your system/transport mechanism in any way.
As & when a new request is created it can be released & subsequently imported.
Thanks,
Saba.
