Dear Experts

In Automatic MSDS Report Shipping process,

I have assigned Material to Specification and MSDS Template is assigned to Generation Varient.

But How Specification is connected to the Generation Variant?

are you need to Assign Generation Variant to Material, anywhere in SPRO?

if so, where?

Could you please elaborate, How system finds appropriate MSDS Report for the Material.

Please guide me

Condition Schema: Edit Table 4 under SPRO - EHS - Product Safety -Basic Settings for Shipping from SD Documents --- Specify condition shemas for Report generation variant selection - condition schema table 4.

EH&S Report Shipping is executed by posting a delivery for an environmentally relevant material. For which you have maintained a Delivery Type, Sales Organization, Customer, Shipping date and Material Report programm RSNAST00 periodically reads the records from NAST table and transports them into table CVDDH. Only for a material that is marked as environmentally relevant in Material Master a record is created in table CVDDH. Here the Report Shipping orders are read and processed periodically. For that data saved in table CVDDH is selected by means of a specific status. This data is then preproc-essed by the process defined in Customizing for Output as Print, eMail or Fax docu-ment and transferred to the output medium.

For these processes to happen system uses Reporting programmes and WWI server. For detailed process on MSDS report shipping - I suggest you to read EH&S Report Shipping - Implementation guide which is available in SAP Market places as an attachment to SAP Note

in addition what has been explained before:

If you take a look in the customizing you will find a number of further activities in the area of report shipment. One is the preparation of at least the "condition table 4" as explained. Three further "condition tables" can be prepared if necessary.

As the details are "lengthy" take a look here: SAP Note 1096697.

This is the general SAP note regarding report shipment and how to configure it etc.
